Day 1:Arrival in Leh

Day 2:Excursion to Sham Valley

• Post breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion around Leh, beginning with a visit to Magnetic Hill, renowned for its intriguing phenomenon where vehicles seem to roll uphill when in neutral gear. Proceed to Gurdwara Shri Pathar Sahib, a sacred shrine dedicated to Guru Nanak Dev Ji, where a revered boulder believed to bear the imprint of the Guru’s back is preserved. Further ahead, witness the stunning confluence of the Zanskar and Indus rivers near Nimu village, where the two rivers meet in contrasting colors, creating a spectacular natural view. On your return.

Day 3:Transfer from Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung-La Pass

• Begin early in the morning with a scenic drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung-La Pass (5,602 m), one of the highest motorable roads in the world, situated approximately 39 km from Leh. The journey offers breathtaking views, with two checkpoints along the way before descending into Nubra Valley. Khardung is the first village en route, situated at a higher altitude than Diskit and other nearby villages. On arrival in Nubra Valley, visit the white sand dunes at Hunder, a distinctive cold desert landscape where you can enjoy an optional ride on the double-humped Bactr.

Day 4:Excursion to Turtuk

• After breakfast, drive to Turtuk, one of the northernmost villages of India, located along the banks of the Shyok River, approximately 205 km from Leh. This unique border village, once under Pakistan’s control until 1971, offers a fascinating blend of history, culture, and scenic beauty. Predominantly a Muslim village, Turtuk is known for its Balti heritage, with locals speaking Balti, Ladakhi, and Urdu, and serves as one of the gateways to the Siachen Glacier. After exploring the village and its surroundings, drive back to Nubra Valley. On arrival, return to yo.

Day 5:Transfer from Nubra Valley to Pangong

• After breakfast, set out on a scenic drive to Pangong Lake, passing through the charming villages of Chemrey and Sakti as you leave the Indus Valley behind. En route, cross the impressive Chang-La Pass (5,475 m), one of the highest motorable passes, accessible for most of the year. Continue the journey through rugged mountain terrain to reach Pangong Lake, located at an altitude of approximately 4,267 meters. On arrival, check in to your camp near the lake. Day 6:Transfer from Pangong to Leh via Chang-La Pass with Enroute Sightseeing

• After breakfast, drive back to Leh via the scenic Chang-La Pass (5,391 m), one of the highest motorable passes in the Ladakh range, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys along the route. En route, visit Shey Monastery, the former royal residence, known for its impressive 7.5-meter-high gold-plated copper statue of Buddha. Continue to Thiksey Monastery, one of the largest and most architecturally striking gompas in Ladakh, housing beautiful temples, stupas, and exquisite wall paintings.
